There are about 10,000,000 people who suffer from Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). That is a lot of people who have to deal with the emotional pain of PTSD. The first step to help them is accepting that it is a real issue. I have suffered from PTSD many times in my life.

It isn't something you can just put behind you and move on. If you are suffering, don't try to pretend it isn't there. Allow yourself to feel the pain.
